| Review: | Woodward East has finally come West! The Woodward West Skate Camp (not really in SoCal but close enough) This will be a great place to learn to skate for new kids getting into the sport as well as a great place for skaters to improve by learning from the pros. The skate camp features a competition style vert ramp and street course as well as what looks like a killer concrete skatepark.
The Woodward West Skate Camp is reporting that they are scheduled to have 150 to 300 campers a week for every session this summer!
Bottom Line: If you have kids like I do, you are probably as stoked as I am to have a place like this not too far away to send your kids to learn how to skate!

14 Mojave towards Palmdale/Lancaster
Rt 58 and go towards Bakersfield (not Bishop)
Take the 3rd Tehachapi Exit, Route 202, Correctional Institute
Go straight through 2 stop lights.
Beyond a small shopping center on the right (watch for Save Mart) is a 4-way stop. Go straight. At the next stop sign, take a right onto Highline Drive. (It is 1 mile from second stop light to Highline Drive.)
Take scenic Highline Drive for 3.1 miles. Watch for sign (“Resort at Stallion Springs”) to turn left onto Banducci.
Take Banducci 7 miles. Watch for sign for left turn onto Stallion Springs Drive (at Pac Bell utility station on right). Follow Stallion Springs Drive (you will PASS the camp on your left). Go through the covered bridge; take second left onto Lucaya Way. Follow signs another .5 miles to Lodge parking lot.
