Description: Images of the park and some of the local skaters. Some tough kids lurk at this place so be sure to bring your longboard in case you need to defend yourself.

Description: Local kid hitting one of the many rails at the Rialto Park

Description: These kids are extremely focused on the rails and do not realize there is some tranny in the park.

Description: More rail action. Check out all the crap at the bottom of the stairs. This park probably has not been maintained since it was opened. Needless to say the locals seemed like they could care less.

Review: The day that we visited the Rialto park (take note – we have not been back since) the park was packed with street skaters that were barging every inch of the street obstacles strewn throughout the skate park. For not so obvious reasons, the trannys were lost in the background of the park. Taking the tranny for a ride I found the bowls and banks that are available at the park are far from wicked and in fact they are basically horrible. Overall the park was littered with dirt, trash, and other debris which did not leave me with the impression that the city maintains the skatepark.

Bottom Line – If you are into street and want to earn your stripes or show off your colors then check it out for yourself. In the end, the locals seem to be having a blast and the outsider writing this review left with a few pictures and the feeling that I would probably most likely never return.

Skateparks are becoming more common as Skateboarding grows as a sport in Southern California. A Skatepark Directory such as SoCal Skateparks can help you to find the best Skateboard Parks in Southern California. We have put this Skatepark Directory together so that skateboarders in Southern California can find skateboard parks easier. Skateparks are important to the foundation of skateboarding. In order for skateparks to remain vibrant in SoCal we have to do our best to make sure that the skateparks that are built here are going to be skateparks that our children will want to skate 20 years from now. We want this to be your first choice skatepark directory and hope that all of the skateparks listed here will help you to find your way.
