Review: This is a great skatepark and is a must visit although San Diego now has many great skateparks to choose from. This park is an endless array of 4-5 foot banks and bowls with and without metal coping. There are two side by side "runs" separated by a spine that feature multiple hips and bowls. The lines are endless. I sometimes wish there were some bigger sections as all the walls are the same size. There is something here for the beginner, street guy and grind king.

After visiting this skatepark again I thought that I would put my 2 cents in about Robb Field and the current state of the skatepark. This park could be a great mini-transition skatepark if the concrete was faster and the bowl runs had less flat bottom. Unfortunately, the skatepark does not have smooth and fast concrete and you really need to skate hard to get any flow going. It seems as if the years are catching up with this skatepark and maybe it is time for a new concrete surface to be poured. I am sure there are some young guns out there who still rip this place apart but imagine the potential of this skatepark with new crete!
