Alex Road Skatepark Oceanside Description

Mostly transition two bowls, two snakeruns and a small street section this park has something for everyone. The first snakerun is tight and fast and leads to a pool coping clamshell that goes oververt slightly. The second snakerun often has skaters going from one end to the other and collision's may occur but in the chaos its fun to grind the pool coping extension over the loveseat. The middle bowl is a large combination bowl with pool coping a mellow round wall, large bank wall and a vert square deep end. Behind that is a amoeba shaped bowl with pool coping and tiles the waterfall is slightly abrupt but not too steep and allows you to gain a lot of speed from the shallow to deep the OG's "old guys" will enjoy this bowl. Last but not least is the street section that has a quarter pipe, banks, ledges, rails, jersey barrier and a unique double pump bump to kicker/spine thingy. This skatepark is usually packed on weekends but during the mid-week days is less crowded. Also make sure to bring water because there is no drinking fountain and no shade. No bike's no scooter's and make sure to bring a helmet because the cops often roll by to issue tickets.

Skateparks are becoming more common as Skateboarding grows in Southern California and around the world. A Skatepark Directory such as SoCal Skateparks can help you to find the best Skateboard Parks in Southern California. We have put this Skatepark Directory together so that skateboarders in Southern California and around the world can find skateboard parks easier here in SoCal. Skateparks are important to the foundation of skateboarding. In order for skateparks to remain vibrant in SoCal we have to do our best to make sure that the skateparks that are built here are going to be skateparks that our children will want to skate 20 years from now. We want this to be your first choice skatepark directory and hope that all of the skateparks listed here will help you to find your way.
